The best and worst of humanity at sea and up in the skies

The last two weeks has shown the absolute best and worst of humanity. We've just landed home from two weeks on Arvia.

As seasoned cruisers, this one has been a shock.

The best - we saw the most kind and compassionate people... who cared when we lost a crew memberand donated for his funeral. Who didn’t moan about supporting an oil rig worker who needed life saving treatment, and who wished our fellow passenger well as they were air lifted to safety.

Then we had the worst - people who moaned, because we had to divert for a 'life or death' situation. Concern over what time they landed at a port. Moaned about 'why should our ship always be the one to help'...
