Sycamore Gap sapling is spreading hope at charity

A sapling from the Sycamore Gap has been planted at the Leeds Society for Deaf and Blind People - in recognition of their work for the community.

The Tree of Hope was planted in the garden of the society’s centre in St Mary’s Street on February 28.
The Leeds Society for Deaf and Blind People is one of 49 recipients across the county of a sapling from the infamous Sycamore Gap Tree, which was illegally felled in 2023.
