Honda's CR-V makes easy transition to hybrid version, writes Julie Marshall

The family-friendly Honda CR-V has been a staple for more than three decades and is now in its sixth generation. The current version, launched in 2023, is offered exclusively as either a full hybrid (e:HEV) or a plugin hybrid (e:PHEV).
We recently tested the plugin hybrid e:PHEV and found it exceeded expectations. Visually, it strikes an appealing balance: what could have been a boxy SUV has been styled into something sleek and sporty, without sacrificing its practicality as a capable family car.
