Moronic vandalism on rise again in the school holidays
Yorkshire Evening Post
|April 10, 2025
I noticed something this week. I often do. During the school holidays, instances of vandalism are more frequent.
Responsible parents will no doubt be alarmed, while parents of a more feckless disposition will trot out the usual excuses: “It's harmless fun. There’s nothing for them to do.”
To these people I would suggest that their children are morons. They too are morons. But at least, these days, they are becoming increasingly easy to spot.
By and large, they favour a uniform of dark clothing. Perhaps a hoodie, skinny joggers and knock-off trainers.
Those in the know tell me the dodgy footwear is produced in more or less the same place as the higher quality, less inferior product, using an identical process. Something it would appear to have in common with those who wear it.
