Farke in survival promise after he picks up award

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has been crowned the League Manager's Association (LMA) Championship Manager of the Year.

The Leeds boss was voted the second tier's Manager of the Year by peers and colleagues at the LMA annual awards dinner this week.

Farke led the Whites to the Championship title, amassing 100 points over 46 games, to return the club to the top flight after narrowly missing out on promotion the season prior.

Leeds broke a number of records on the way to their title triumph with 29 wins and 25 clean sheets, as well scoring the most goals in a single season for 97 years with 95 in total.
