Nepal rocked by deadly protests, PM Oli resigns

Violence escalated in Nepal today with hundreds of 'Gen Z' protestors setting fire to the residences of Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli and several other leaders while at least two protestors died in clashes in Kathmandu taking the total number of those killed to 21 since yesterday.
Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli resigned “to pave way for the constitutional solution of the current crisis.” Minister for Water Supply Pradeep Yadav, Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Ram Nath Adhikari and Sports Minister Tejulal Chaudhary also submitted their resignations. Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak had resigned yesterday.
