Hod Chhilar Village in Haryana reclaims its identity after 41 years in presence of senior officials

After 41 long years, the village of Hod Chhilar in Haryana, which witnessed unspeakable tragedy during the anti-Sikh riots of 1984, has finally reclaimed its lost identity.

This milestone was marked in the presence of senior administrative officers and local leaders.On November 2, 1984, a violent mob carried out a well-planned massacre in Hod Chhilar, brutally killing 32 Sikhs and throwing their bodies into a nearby well, which was later set ablaze with kerosene.
