Five new air-conditioned electric buses to hit Ambala roads as Minister Anil Vij expands eco-friendly public transport

In a major boost to eco-friendly urban transport, Haryana Transport Minister Anil Vij has announced the launch of five new air-conditioned electric buses (E-buses) on local routes in Ambala.
This will increase the number of electric buses in operation within the city to ten, with plans underway to add six to seven more in the near future. Highlighting the government's commitment to green mobility, Sh. Vij said, “These electric buses are both environment-friendly and air-conditioned, offering comfort to the public while reducing carbon emissions.”
Local Bus Service Resumes After 25 Years
Thanks to Minister Vij’s efforts, Ambala’s local bus service which had been non-operational for nearly 25 years has now been successfully revived.
