The drug eradication campaign launched by the Punjab government in Punjab under the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and the guidance of Aam Aadmi Party, National Coordinator, Arvind Kejriwal will reach 15000 villages and wards to spread awareness against drugs, said MLA Derabassi, Kuljit Singh Randhawa, today.

While interacting with the people in Sarsini, Hassanpur and Chandiala villages, on Sunday, he also solicited suggestions from the people on how the drug problem can be eradicated in Punjab and especially in their villages. He said that the aim of the drug addiction visits, is to connect the people with the Bhagwant Singh Mann government’s campaign, "Yudh Nasheya Virudh" against drugs and make Punjab drug-free. He said that under this outreach campaign, gram sabhas are being held in about 351 villages every day across the state.
