The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accused the ruling Congress government in Himachal Pradesh of misleading the public regarding central assistance for disaster relief.
BJP state secretary and MLA Vinod Kumar, along with media in-charge Karan Nanda, asserted that the Central Government has stood firmly with the state during natural calamities and has extended over Rs. 5,000 crore for relief and reconstruction efforts.
