Cabinet minister lays foundation stone for new road project in Geeta colony

Punjab Horticulture and Defence Services Welfare Minister Mohinder Bhagat on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for the construction of new roads in Geeta Colony, marking the beginning of a much-awaited development project worth Rs. 27 lakh.
Speaking at the inauguration, the Minister said the new roads will greatly benefit residents, especially after the area’s existing roads were dug up for laying water pipelines.
He said the project fulfills a major local demand, long voiced by the people of Geeta Colony.
