Bhajans organised, Meerabai remembered

A devotee is never selfish, he takes flower of charity in his hand and spreads its fragrance among the people. Devotee Meera Bai ji was not only an introverted soul painted in color of God, she was sucha fierce flame of revolution that opposed many evils of society and also inspired society towards path of truth. There are many incidents in her life character in which she refused to sacrifice animals and when her husband died, she also opposed practice of Sati. She broke ego of a Brahmin who never even looked ata woman and called himself.a celibate. She provided nectar of devotion to humanity suffering from sorrows of world. She nourished souls with that divine bliss
