Tragedy-hit skydive firm to resume operations

A SKYDIVING company which organised the Devon jump where two skydivers tragically died after their parachutes reportedly failed to open has said that they plan to resume operations this weekend.
On Friday, June 13, Totnes mother-of-four Belinda Taylor, 48, and Bournemouth instructor Adam Harrison, 30, were found near Dunkeswell Aerodrome, near Honiton, after an organised leap from a plane.
Witnesses claim that neither of the parachutes opened as expected, leading to the fatal incident.
Skydive Buzz have now announced via Facebook that they are preparing to resume skydives imminently.
The post read: “Whilst the investigation is ongoing, the relevant authorities have no objection to us resuming normal skydiving operations.”
They added: “However, we have taken a short pause to allow our team the time and space they need to process recent events and support one another.”
Further details were shared: “Our team have met today (Wednesday, June 18) to discuss plans to resume skydiving this coming weekend.”
