Takeaways failed to show poor food stars

THE owners of two takeaways have been fined after they displaying false food ratings.

‘The Seven Spice in Pembroke Dock and USA Fried Chicken in Milford Haven were found guilty of misleading their customers by displaying higher ratings despite both being rated with just one star.

Arkan Ullah, of Seven Spice, London Road, Pembroke Dock, and Kamuran Babahan,,of USA Fried Chicken, Charles Street, Milford Haven, were both due to appear at Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court.

‘The court heard that Seven Spice was inspected on November 27, 2024, when it was found the menu did not have any bilingual statement indicating the restaurant's food hygiene rating.
