SKIPPER ISSUES A PLEA TO FANS

Lake made an impassioned plea for fans to stick with the Wales team following their heavy Six Nations defeat to France yesterday.A crowd of 57,444 were at the Principality Stadium to see Steve Tandy's side fall to a 54-12 defeat.
It was the lowest-ever crowd in Cardiff for a Six Nations game outside of the Covid pandemic.
A dismal run of results and off-field issues are largely to blame for falling attendances, but the sight of thousands of empty seats to see Wales play a side of France's stature was a sobering one.
