One mum's ordeal just to find a home

WHEN you hear of someone homeless, a certain image comes to mind.

It’s most likely a tent under a bridge, or someone with a tattered coffee cup in front of them.

It isn’t a mother-of-five mature student who has been paying her rent without fail for more than a decade.

And yet, that's what happened to Tina.

One day, as she brought her children back from the cinema in the summer holidays, her private landlord told her changes to the rules around tenancies were too expensive and he had to sell the house.
