Man kidnapped and raped woman

A MAN subjected a woman to multiple rapes as part of a campaign against her that included kidnapping and threats to kill.

Police described 29-year-old Curtis Evans as “a particularly nasty and dangerous character” who would have gone on to commit further offences had he not been arrested.

Evans denied any offending, forcing his victim to go through the ordeal of reliving her abuse before a jury at trial.
