'I'll try my best to get under their skin' - Mann

WALES back-row Alex Mann says he will try to get under the skin of England's stars as Steve Tandy's side look to claim a Six Nations scalp at Twickenham on Saturday.

The last time Mann took to the pitch with Wales, he rattled Springbok legend Eben Etzebeth enough that the second-row ended up being banned for 12 weeks for gouging the Cardiff flanker.

While Mann might not be looking for a similar incident in London, he certainly won't be intimidated by England's 'Pom Squad' after going toe-to-toe with the South African enforcer.

Steve Borthwick's side will be able to unleash the likes of Maro Itoje, Tom Curry and Henry Pollock from the bench on the weekend - with the latter having a tendency to aggravate the opposition through his flashy actions on the pitch.

However, Mann is looking forward to getting stuck into all of them as Wales bid to spring a surprise against an England side currently in the midst of a 11-game winning run.

"I think I'll try my best (to get under their skin)," said Mann.

"They're really good players, we know that, but I don't really think we put too much energy into that.

"It's all on us now and what we can do rather than what they're bringing. That's the exciting bit for us as a group."
