WITH just days remaining until the county's biggest annual celebration, excitement is mounting across Somerset as residents, businesses and community groups prepare for Somerset Day 2025.
The two-day event, taking place over the weekend of Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11, promises to deliver a vibrant mix of festivities celebrating the region's heritage, produce and spirit.
Festivities began last week with a special Choral Evensong at Taunton Minster on Sunday, May 4. This traditional service brought locals together in reflection and song, setting the tone for the days ahead.
