Show’s big welcome for bulls class

THE return of one of the most anticipated beef classes is set to be a highlight at this year’s Royal Bath & West Show, with entries now open for both beef and dairy classes.

Following strong demand from exhibitors, the Senior Bull Class for bulls born before 2025 will return to the beef schedule on Thursday, May 28. A staple across all beef breed categories, the class is renowned for showcasing some of the most impressive animals on the showground.

‘These bulls are often the largest and most powerful examples of their breed, and their absence in 2025 was keenly felt by exhibitors.

Alongside the promised excitement in the beef ring, this year's dairy competitions promise equally high standards, culminating in the prestigious interbreed championship, which takes place on Friday, May 29.
