Darrell Clarke's side had numerous opportunities to take the lead, with Fabrizio Cavegn coming close twice in the first half, while Ellis Harrison and Joel Cotterill nearly found the back of the net after the break, with the latter hitting the post.

“It is difficult, there's people low on confidence with the run we've been on,” the Wales international said when reflecting on a seventh loss in a row for the club. “We need it to go in off someone's backside, that could be the catalyst that we need.
