Skivington delighted to boost his backline with 26-year-old recruit from Leinster
GLOUCESTER Rugby have bolstered their backline ahead of the 2025-26 season with the signing of 26-year-old back-three player Rob Russell from United Rugby Championship side Leinster.
At 6ft and 90 kilos, Russell is capable of playing at full-back or wing, and has scored 18 times in his 35 appearances for the province. A former Ireland age-grade international and product of St Michael’s College in Dublin, Russell has been at the province since 2021, making his professional debut in a URC fixture against the Dragons but has had his playing time restricted with Leinster's side packed full of international superstars.
