Defender left out of EFL squad list as more time's needed to recover from injury

GERHARD Struber has provided an update on Luke McNally after he was left out of Bristol City's EFL squad list, with the Reds head coach admitting he feels "sorry" for the injured defender.
McNally, right, who hasn't featured for the Robins since he suffered an ACL injury late on in a defeat to Swansea City back in February, was not part of the Robins' 25-man squad list submitted to the EFL, while fellow current injury absentees Joe Williams, Max O'Leary and Cam Pring were all included.
