Ban for Rovers fan over racism

A BRISTOL Rovers fan who hurled racist abuse during an away match has been handed a banning order.

Peter Wynn, 62 of Whittock Road, Stockwood, Bristol, was arrested at John Smith's Stadium in Huddersfield on October 19, 2024 after another supporter heard him shouting racist abuse and reported it to stewards and the police.
Wynn was then charged with a public order offence and appeared at Huddersfield Magistrates' Court on Thursday, April 17.
