Residents near busy A390 angry at more 'noisy' overnight roadworks

VILLAGERS have complained they are again being kept awake by noise from overnight work on the busy A-road which runs through their community.
The A390 between Tresillian and Truro has been subject to more late-night working over the past week.
The road was closed overnight for three weeks in September while resurfacing work was carried out by Cornwall Council's contractor Cormac and now the workmen have returned, causing confusion and frustration for some residents.
One disgruntled Tresillian resident said the work had caused quite a bit of disruption, from 7pm until about 2am.
“Tt wasn’t that long ago that roadworks were carried out to improve the road through Tresillian and now we're being subjected to it all over again’ he said.
