Unanimous support for city’s next mayor

IN time honoured tradition, Wells City Council considered the nominations for its next city Mayor at the February meeting of Full City Council with Cllr Denise Denis receiving unanimous support to be the city’s 652nd ‘The Right Worshipful Mayor of Wells.

Cllr Sarah Powell was unanimously voted to act as Deputy Mayor for the same year.
