Man, 18, is arrested in murder investigation

AN 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in Prestatyn on Friday night.

On Friday evening police said they were not actively searching for anyone else in connection with the woman's death.

The teenager arrested remains in police custody, the force said. They added that formal identification of the woman is yet to take place, and said the coroner has been made aware.

Investigation work remains ongoing at the scene.
