York Regional Police are looking for suspects after another targeted home invasion in Markham was captured on video, the second in just two days.
Police were called to a house near The Bridle Walk and Castlemore Avenue around 3 a.m. on Thursday for reports of a home invasion.
According to police, the victim called 911 after three suspects armed with a hammer allegedly forced their way into the home and demanded the victim’s car keys.
In a video of the incident released by police, a vehicle is seen pulling up to the curb in front of a home. The time-stamp shows 2:43 a.m. on Thursday. A person is seen exiting the car from the back seat, walking up to the driver’s side window of a parked white SUV on the driveway, before quickly walking back to the car that then leaves the scene.
