Lotto Max to hit highest jackpot ever: $75M

Lottery players across Ontario and Canada have five million more reasons to be excited for Friday's Lotto Max draw, as the jackpot is being upped to $75 million - the highest amount ever.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. announced Wednesday that the prize has grown to $75 million now that the main jackpot cap has increased to $80 million.

If the jackpot isn't won on Friday, then it will roll to the maximum amount for the next draw on Sept. 17.

OLG added that 12 "Maxmillions" prizes are up for grabs on Friday, each with a value of $1 million.
