Thousands enjoy sky-high acrobatic feats as air show soars into 75th year at CNE
Under sunny skies that delivered 28 C temperatures and thousands of spectators to the shore of Lake Ontario, the three-day Canadian International Air Show kicked off at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) on Saturday afternoon.
The show, now in its 75th year and billed as North America’s longest-running air show, showcases a range of aircraft, including planes, helicopters and military jets performing colourful aerobatics and breathtaking manoeuvres.
It continues over the lake, and the city, on Sunday and Monday from noon to 3:40 p.m.
