Trailing 2-1 on aggregate didn’t matter much to Toronto FC heading into the second leg of the Canadian Championship semifinal.

They’re always playing to win.

Lorenzo Insigne’s goal early in the second half carried TFC to a 1-0 victory over Hamilton-based Forge FC on Tuesday night and a berth in the Canadian Championship final. It was exactly the score the Reds needed to dispatch the Canadian Premier League club and compete for their ninth Voyageurs Cup.
