When Bari Weiss was appointed editor of CBS News, she said that she and Paramount Chief Executive David Ellison were aligned on their desire for "news that reflects reality" and journalism that "doesn't seek to demonize, but seeks to understand.

A U.S. News article on Monday about "60 Minutes" incorrectly attributed those remarks to Ellison. The error also appeared in a Nov. 21 Business & Finance article about Weiss.
