ARNE'S OUT FOR GLORY DAYS LIKE BRUCE

- Simon Mullock

LIVERPOOL fans reckon Arne Slot has been “boss” this season - so it was fitting that the Dutchman spent an evening watching Bruce Springsteen last week.

Slot ventured into enemy territory to see the rock legend The Boss produce a three-hour spectacular of his hits at Manchester's Co-op Live arena, 100 yards away from Manchester City's Etihad Stadium.

It's typical of Slot's mentality that he was able to take something from the show that might come in handy when he tries to bring more Glory Days to Anfield next season.

The Kop chief has admitted that from the first day of pre-season training in July he will be calling on Virgil van Dijk and Co to once again be Tougher Than the Rest.

Slot said: "I've heard what Springsteen does during his daily life to be able to do what he does. Talking about people having good habits!
