Sheila's back on Brookie

Johnston's up for special episode

SUE Johnston is looking forward to returning to Brookside for a crossover with Hollyoaks.

The telly legend, 81, who starred as Brookie’s long-suffering matriarch Sheila, is the first cast member to be announced for the episode celebrating 30 years of Hollyoaks in October.

Filming will also return to Brookside Close after 22 years.

Sue said: "It'll be so lovely to go back and be Sheila for a day as it was such a big, enjoyable part of my life."
