Love Island delayed after wildfire chaos

All Stars site evacuated as series is postponed

LOVE Island has been plunged into crisis mode after wildfires broke out near the villa.

Filming of the All Stars series was postponed and the South Africa production site evacuated.

In the ITV2 spin-off, hosted by Maya Jama, former favourites from the regular series - this year including Whitney Adebayo, Shaq Muhammad and Millie Court get another chance to find love.

Filming was meant to get under way yesterday, with the islanders expected to enter the villa, pictured above.

But a wildfire caused a road closure, bringing plans grinding to a halt as the Franschhoek wine valley, where the villa is, was put on a state of alert.

Episode one, due to be screened tomorrow, has been cancelled, meaning fans will have to wait a little longer to see their favourites return.
