Losers and winners on my watch week

IT'S fair to say I get the most pleasure in life from doing things - be it running, rowing, public speaking or fundraising - but some weeks I can be enthralled by simply watching.

I have always liked seeing virtually any sport when it matters, so last week I had the whole range of emotions with results going against my hopes in virtually all areas.

I started by watching my team AFC Wimbledon on TV, narrowly losing their first game of the season to an unfortunate own goal when they probably deserved a draw.

Next up, with a few friends I went to my rugby club, Sutton and Epsom, to watch the final Lions match there. I guess they deservedly lost on the day but it's always fun watching sport with others discussing the nuances of what is happening.
