Tory MP doc defects to Labour

A TOP Tory MP defected to Labour last night with a savage broadside against his old party.

Former health minister and part-time GP Dan Poulter said the Conservatives had become a "nationalist party of the right" and no longer valued the NHS.

Dr Poulter said: "I found it increasingly difficult to look my NHS colleagues in the eye, my patients in the eye, and my constituents in the eye with good conscience.
