Golden Gosdens win the Irish 2,000 Guineas
FIELD OF GOLD traced the hoofprints of his sire Kingman to gain an emphatic victory in the Tattersalls Irish 2,000 Guineas at the Curragh.
Both horses travelled to Ireland seeking redemption after an agonising half-length second in the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket
Field Of Gold's defeat three weeks earlier triggered the sacking of Kieran Shoemark as No.1 jockey to John and Thady Gosden's (right with winning jockey Colin Keane) Clarehaven stable.
