Farage goes to the US to make money and talk his own country down... it's just grubby

He's not for ordinary people, he's for Nigel Farage. Feeding off their grievances and with no intention of fixing them... It's a very dangerous divide Nigel Farage has opened up
KEIR Starmer today warns voters to steer clear of "grubby" selfseeking Nigel Farage, who "feeds off people's grievances with no intention of fixing them".
In an exclusive interview with this newspaper the Prime Minister slated the Reform leader for being more interested in lining his own pockets than helping hardworking families.
Speaking on the eve of the Labour party conference, which begins today, Mr Starmer said: "He's not for ordinary people, he's for Nigel Farage."
His comments came after our sister paper the Daily Mirror revealed Mr Farage had trousered £1million from 12 separate side hustles. Mr Starmer said: "There is nothing more unpatriotic than pretending you're going to fix a problem that really matters to people in the full knowledge you're not because you don't want to, because you've no interest.
"That is as unpatriotic as you get. Add to that he spends more time grubbing around in America trying to make money for himself than he does representing his constituents."
During repeated jaunts to the US Mr Farage has met up with right-wing populist President Donald Trump.
This month he claimed to Congress that Britain was "at war with freedom" and in June he announced at a conference in Las Vegas that Reform would become the first UK political party to accept donations by Bitcoin.
Mr Starmer said: "He goes there not just to make money, but to talk our country down. The leader of a political party going to another country to talk his own country down - grubby."
The PM also condemned Reform's "divisive and dangerous" plans to axe indefinite leave to remain, the main route to citizenship for migrants who came to Britain legally.
He said: "It's one thing to say we must control our borders and remove those who have no right to be here, who are here illegally. I agree with that.
