Magic Mahoney grabs late point to deny Dons

WIMBLEDON boss Johnnie Jackson was down in the dumps after his promotion contenders chucked away a potentially crucial two points.

The Dons were cruising thanks to strikes from Marcus Browne and Matty Stevens.

But Barrow subs Dean Campbell and Connor Mahoney netted late on, with the equaliser coming in the sixth minute of added time.

Wimbledon remain in League Two's third automatic promotion slot - but only by a thread.

And Jackson said: "That feels like a sucker punch after a really strong second-half performance.

"The goals we conceded were our fault. We allowed turnover of possession, that's the frustrating thing. It was self-inflicted and an opportunity missed. We had been brilliant, I have to remember that as much as it hurts right now."
