Comic Relief a teary release for Davina

DAVINA McCall fought back tears as she gave a deeply emotional speech for Comic Relief about her brain tumour surgery last year.

The presenter, 57, was one of the co-hosts of the BBC's Red Nose Day telethon on Friday night, which raised £34million for charity.

Davina expressed her gratitude for the medical staff who cared for her during the operation to remove a colloid cyst four months ago and who supported her partner, hair stylist Michael Douglas.
