BEN STOKES issued a big “Bash” warning to India after his England side crushed Zimbabwe at Trent Bridge.

The captain hailed young spin wizard Shoaib Bashir (above) following an outstanding six-wicket haul which helped the hosts clinch an innings-and-45-run victory in the one-off Test.

Zimbabwe could only make 255 in their second innings, with Bashir taking centre stage with 6-81 and the contest finishing a day early.

Stokes (below) knows the summer campaign will get much tougher as India prepare to arrive here next month for a five-Test series.

He enthused:

“Bash is working it out now! He's getting better and better, and going from strength to strength.
