SRINAGAR Omar Abdullah visited the Raj Bhavan in Srinagar on Friday evening to stake a claim for forming the government in Jammu and Kashmir after securing support from independents and the Congress.
During his media interaction, Abdullah stressed the importance of a functional relationship with the BJP-led central government, stating, "We have to develop a working relationship without any friction with the Prime Minister and Home Minister so that the governance can be responsive to the needs of the public."
