The party is yet to take a call on the face of the Chief Minister as it gears up for the Assembly elections to be held in the national capital in February next year.

- TIKAM SHARMA

Delhi BJP is still undecided on whether they will go with a face for the post of Chief Minister and if yes, who that will be for the upcoming Assembly elections to be held in February 2025.

Party sources said that the final call on this issue will be taken by the leadership ‘soon’. According to them, the lack of a prominent face to counter Delhi CM and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and the fact that there are factions within the BJP in Delhi are issues that the leadership will consider while deciding on whether to appoint a CM face or fight the election without any name being declared as the CM candidate.
