In aregion known for frequent infiltration bids, terror threats, and harsh terrain, Assistant Commandant Ruchi and Assistant Commandant Rohit stand shoulder to shoulder not just as life partners, but as comrades in arms.

Deployed at the zero line, their daily routine involves high-altitude patrols, surveillance, checkpoint inspections, and counter-infiltration operations. Both officers are posted in the same BSF unit in northern Kashmir, a decision that reflects not only operational needs but also the force's evolving understanding of modern personnel management and family support in conflict zones.
