Yu Menglong's mother says actor died from accidental fall after drinking

Chinese actor Yu Menglong’s mother has publicly addressed his death for the first time, saying that he accidentally fell from height after drinking alcohol.
Speculation has swirled regarding the cause of the 37-year-old’s death on Sept 11 after a fall, reportedly from a residential building in Beijing, China.
His management team posted a statement from Yu's mother on Chinese social media platform Weibo on Sept 16.
