Waller trio all set for Empire Rose raid

Chris Waller will saddle three strong hopes in the Group 1 Empire Rose Stakes at Flemington on Nov 1.

The 15-time Sydney champion trainer has Fangirl, Lazzura and Leica Lucy engaged in the A$1 million (S$853,000) race over 1,600m, the sole Group 1 mares race during the Spring Carnival.
Atishu took out Empire Rose Stakes honours in 2024 for Waller, whose previous success stories were Red Tracer (2013) and Shillelagh (2018).
