The Taiwanese quintet's almost three-hour gig saw each member having his moment at the comeback show

CONCERT 2024 ENERGY IMMINENT LIVE IN SINGAPORE Singapore Indoor Stadium Nov 23

Some two decades after their last concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, Energy's comeback show at the same venue showed the group have not lost their zeal and drive.

The newly reunited Taiwanese boy band brought back many of their early hits from before their 2009 disbanding, as well as new releases that have re-energized their repertoire since their reassembling at the start of 2024.

For instance, they charged through the recent hit Friday Night, which sparked a viral dance craze after its release in April. In particular, they aced the iconic 16 squat jumps at the close of the catchy number.

Supported by eight backup dancers, they also rocked the angsty Return To The World. This new track, released in May, sampled a 2004 song by Taiwanese rock band Mayday, who played a pivotal role in Energy's return.

Before a 7,500-strong crowd, Energy announced that they would soon be special guests during Mayday's concerts at the National Stadium in January.

During Energy's concert, which lasted almost three hours, each of the group's five members got his time to shine.
