Inconvenienced commuters have been understandably frustrated at the East-West Line disruption (Train disruption on EWL to last several more days; SMRT aims to restore services on Sept 30, Sept 26).
Although this incident was the third rail disruption in a few weeks, I would like to encourage everyone to appreciate those working tirelessly behind the scenes.
I was on my way to work on Sept 27 when the sudden downpour aggravated the overcrowding situation on the shuttle buses, delaying my travel time greatly.
