New York's Hart Of Gold

WASHINGTON - Coach Tom Thibodeau called Josh Hart "unbelievable", after he delivered his third triple-double of the season on Dec 30 to spark the New York Knicks to a 126-106 road victory over the Washington Wizards, stretching their winning streak to eight games in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Hart, 29, said: "I think at the end of the day, winning streaks, they're cool, they keep the vibes great, but we know there's peaks and valleys to the NBA season."

He had 23 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists for his ninth triple-double with the Knicks, while Karl-Anthony Towns had a game-high 32 points and 13 rebounds.

Thibodeau was quoted by New York Post as saying: "I thought it was a well-balanced attack.

"Josh was unbelievable the whole game. And then KAT's second half was dominant. But we got good performances from a lot of people."

"I liked that our defense was strong, our rebounding was strong. We always say, defend, rebound, attack the paint, share the ball. If we do that, we're gonna be in a good position to win."
